'Teacher's Day'

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge”  -Albert Einstein

Teachers give students purpose, prepare them to be successful citizens of the world, inspire them to accomplish incredible things, and give the motivation that always stays with them. Though technology has changed the course of education but a good teacher has the power to influence the student in the most positive way.
Teachers' Day in India is celebrated on 5th September every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great educationalist and the second President of India whose dream was to see teachers to be the best minds in the country.  It was his wish to celebrate his birthday as Teachers' Day all over India.
On 4th September, Samsara-The World Academy celebrated Teachers' Day to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and hard work of the teachers. Students of classes VII and VIII beautifully portrayed their feelings and respect for all the teachers through various activities like the Speak Up Activity : 'I love my teachers because ….' and the Enactment Activity : 'The Famous Teacher' on a virtual platform.
Teachers also celebrated this occasion at school with full enthusiasm and vigor under the kind supervision of our Principal Capt. Praveen Roy. The  spectacular performances comprising of songs, dance, Antakshri, and poem recitation won the appreciation of all. Principal ma'am in her address conveyed her best wishes to all. She further applauded the eminent and crucial role of teachers in the present online education scenario. It was indeed a memorable day for all the teachers.
