"one person's trash is another person's treasure." Under the green school program, students of Samsara always participate in different activities for the safety of our environment. Taking one step ahead in the same direction, under the supervision of their facilitators, the children utilised these waste coconut shells as pots and planted herbs in them.
Students enthusiastically participated in this environment friendly activity.
Through this activity, students were made aware of using the unwanted discarded waste in more creative way thus, promoting a healthy environment. It will not only reduce the wastage but also help in making our surroundings clean and green. We used the concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle which not only reduces the amount of waste from the environment but also allows products to be used to their fullest extent.
