To encourage young students to actively participate in the election process and contribute towards nation-building, Samsara-The World Academy conducted an ‘Election Awareness Drive’ through a special assembly on Wednesday, 9 February 2022.
The students of Classes XI and XII prepared eye-catching posters and composed catchy slogans to create awareness for the upcoming election. They took the initiative to motivate and make people aware of the need to vote, as it forms the basis of a robust democracy.
Awareness sessions for the students were also held in their HRT lessons where the students promised that they would try to motivate their parents, grandparents, relatives and neighbours to vote.
The maintenance staff at the school was also informed about the upcoming elections, their importance, and the value of their vote. The teachers and admin department also took the Voter’s Pledge.
It was an excellent step to spread awareness among students ahead of the UP-assembly elections 2022 scheduled on 10 February 2022.
