International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8th March. It is a global day that celebrates the historical, cultural, and political achievements of women. This day is also observed in support of taking action against gender inequality around the world.

We, Samsara-The world Academy celebrated International Women’s Day to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and remarkable contributions of women in everybody's life and society.

On 4th March 2022 an online motivational session was organized for all the teachers and mothers of Class MB to V students, on the topic - "Building Self Compassion" which was hosted by our school counsellor Ms Megha Sarin, a clinical psychologist.

She discussed that Self-compassion involves being aware of our pain and suffering. She focused on the importance of directing the feelings of kindness and care towards ourselves.

This interaction gave encouragement and a true opportunity to all the participants to share their different experiences and thoughts on the dynamic role of women.
This session continued with different fun activities such as 'writing positive thoughts about oneself' and 'reciting motivational poems' to boost self-compassion.

Our revered Principal Ma'am Capt. Praveen Roy graced the occasion by expressing her thoughts on International Women’s Day emphasizing the remarkable contributions made by women each day. Everybody felt motivated and expressed their gratitude for keeping this session

Our school management also organised a heartwarming get together for all our Samsara family members to celebrate this occasion on 7th March 2022 which was full of joy and laughter. It was indeed a memorable day for all.

We pray to God that every woman should be blessed and should achieve her goals because "Girls with dreams become women with vision."
