"Our Mathematics facilitator Mr.Mithlesh Kumar Chaudhary attended an online CBSE workshop on "Salient Features of New Education Policy20' on 7th, July, 2021 conducted by COE, Noida.
The resource person Mr. Rajiv Mohan threw light on some of the following key principals of NEP-2020.

-Vision of policy
-5+3+3+4 education structure.
-No rigid separations between Science, Arts and Commerce.
-Internships and vocational education from Class 6 onwards.
-Transforming curricular & pedagogical structures
-Learning & assessment
-Curtailing drop out rates and ensuring universal access to education at all levels.

He emphasised about competency based teaching & skill development and urged all the participants to bring a change to move from rote learning to experiential learning, from knowledge based to skill based.
He said that there is a need to change the teaching pedagogy in order to make the child curious.
It was an educating workshop, which made all the participants aware about the salient features of NEP 2020 & its implementation .
