Special Assembly on Russia- Ukraine Relations

“The real test of power is not capacity to make war but capacity to prevent it.” ― Anne O’Hare McCormick

Russia–Ukraine relations refer to the relations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Currently, the two countries are in a state of conflict - the Russo-Ukrainian War began in 2014 following the Russian annexation of Crimea from Ukraine.

Samsara - The World Academy conducted a special assembly on the present ongoing scenario between "Russia and Ukraine" for the students of Classes VI to XII on 18th February 2022.

The students of class XI conducted the school prayer which was followed by the thought and news headlines of the day.

Our Social Science H.O.D Ms. Smruti Bhuyan discussed the on going conflict between the two states. She explained the historical and geographical reasons behind the strained relations between the two states and how it has impacted all the other nations around the world.

She also described how these kind of conflicts amongst the different countries change the complete social, economic and political status quo in the context of International Relations.

The students were very interactive during the quiz round and were happy to know the facts behind this latest controversy.

Our revered Principal Ma'am Capt. Praveen Roy shared her thoughts on this topic and also motivated everyone by expressing how such major issues at the global level can also be solved by building and keeping peace and cooperation.
