Samsara -The World Academy celebrated the vibrant traditions of Lohri and Makar Sankrantiwith immense zeal and enthusiasm on 13th January 2024.
The atmosphere resonated with joy as students and staff came together to embrace the rich cultural significance of these festivals. Lohri, marking the end of the winter solstice, witnessed the assembly echoing with traditional songs and dances symbolising community bonding and gratitude for a bountiful harvest. Students’ speeches on Makar Sankranti, elucidated the historical and agricultural importance of both festivals, emphasising unity, prosperity, and the spirit of renewal.
