The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised a conference named 'TOGETHER' at Bravura Resort, Meerut on Thursday 27th August, 2015 with the aim to empower school principals through various means. The workshop was attended by principals from all over the country. Capt. Praveen Roy, Principal, Samsara-The World Academy also attended this informational workshop.
Dr. Satbir Bedi, Chairperson CBSE addressed the Principals. She stressed on the need to ensure that we not only make our students literate but also infuse them with moral values so as to build their character as a responsible citizen of the country and develop them as assets for the society. Mr. Vishal Jain,Chairman, Principals Forum India, concluded the workshop by saying that teachers should be compassionate and more focused on the overall development of the school. Afterall, a school becomes what its Principal wants it to be. As appropriately said by the Dalai Lama,
" When educating the minds of our children, we must not neglect to educate their hearts".
