Gandhi Jayanti is observed on 2nd October, every year, to commemorate the birth of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. The students of Samsara-The World Academy presented a special assembly on October 1, 2019 to relive Gandhiji’s life and contribution to India's Independence. To pay homage to Gandhi ji, the students depicted his famous Dandi March and sang his favourite bhajan ‘Vaishnav jan toh..’

The students also highlighted his ideals of non-violence,truth and loyalty in the form of poems and speeches. 

The special assembly got a befitting closure by the encouraging words of our Principal, Captain Praveen Roy, who emphasised the importance of  of ‘Manual Labour ‘ that Bapu taught us. She motivated the students to do their daily chores themselves and take initiatives to keep our surroundings clean.
