Our able facilitators Ms. Smruti Bhuyan and Ms. Garima Mishra from Samsara -The World Academy, attended two days Capacity Building Programme on Political Science held at Army Public School, Noida between 28 and 29 September, 2018.

The eminent resource person and a Political analyst Mr. Madan Lal Sawhane and Mr. Dhiraj Singh stated that the students who opt Political Science at the Senior Secondary level should be provided with an opportunity where they get introduced to the diverse concerns of the society.

They conveyed that special care has to be taken when introducing different streams of Political Science to the students. They should not be burdened with the current jargon of the discipline. The basic idea is to lay the foundations for a serious engagement with the discipline at the undergraduate stage.

Mr. Madan Lal Sawhane advised teachers to create an ambience in the classroom where children can strengthen their capacity for political analysis by thinking of contemporary development in a historical perspective.

The facilitators found this workshop very edifying and heuristic. They gained immense knowledge from this two days informative session.
