'Telescopic Event in Samsara'

Samsara-The World Academy organised another spatial event on Saturday, 1st October 2016. The event was in continuation of the Telescopic activity that took place on 7th September 2016 in collaboration with Deep Space Watch Limited founded by an IITain Mr. Amit Kaushik. Students watched the second biggest planet in the school premises for the students. through the telescope, children not only observed Saturn capitals but also its MOON TITAN. The moment students started peeking through the telescope it was out of the world experience for them. They couldn't stop raving about the Saturn, its rings and its Moon Titan. They learned some really out of the ordinary facts about the planet. They were informed that the Saturn with its rings is about 2000 times in size; the diameter of its rings is 21 times of the Earth's diameter. They learned that it moves at the speed of 45 km/sec and light takes 90 minutes to reach this planet. This event tickled the inquisitiveness of the students. This astronomical encounter lifted high spirit among the students leaving them looking forward for many more such experiences.
