Our English Facilitator Ms.Reema Sharma attended an online workshop on 'Project Based Learning' conducted by CBSE, CoE, Noida, on Wednesday, 30th, Sep, 2020.

The resource person, Ms.Ruchi Sengar laid emphasis on the Project Based Learning. She said that PBL is to teach students important knowledge and skills, derived from the prescribed curriculum and key concepts of academic subjects.

She elucidated that PBL is typically grounded in the elements like role playing, real-world scenarios, blended writing genres, multiple reading genres and multiple methods of communication such as writing, oral speaking, visual presentation, publishing etc.

She even told a role of a teacher that she/he has to act as a facilitator by guiding students to identify and then research a real world problem, developing its solution using evidence, to support the claim and thus presenting the solution through multimedia approach based in a set of 21st century.

It was indeed an eye opening experience which gave a clear vision in differentiating between project and project based learning.
