Workshop on “ Multiple roles of a teacher-The Need for a Sustainable Society” 

Two teachers of Samsara; Ms. Divanshi Mehta and Ms. Hemanti Thapa,  attended a national seminar on “ Multiple roles of a teacher-The need of  a Sustainable Society”  held at  Army Institute of Education, Greater Noida on Monday, 6 March, 2017. The purpose of the seminar was to prepare intellectually competent, socially concerned, morally upright and technically inclined teachers who act as catalyst to shape the destiny of a nation.
The seminar began with motivational remarks of Professor Sangeeta Chauhan, Dean, University School of Education, New Delhi who focused on the contribution of teachers in inculcating  values and life skills for a sustainable society.  This was followed by Ms. Suzanne Rodricks, Phase Head, Foundation Stage, Dubai Scholars Private School, Dubai, highlighting the significance of integration of ICT skills in 21st Century Education.  Samsara intends to initiate and  provide such platforms to its teachers to discuss the issues and concerns for the multiple role of teachers in the present and in the times to come.   ( in the present as well as future scenario.)
