Every student in class 12th is on the verge of making their most crucial career decision, which is, picking a course / program to be pursued as their career.
To guide students in this pursuit, an online Career Counselling Workshop was organised for the Class 12th students. The class teachers with their students attended the seminar on 4th & 5th, January 2021, which was organised by MPS, Meerut. The Guest Speaker Ms. Ritu Kaushik, a renowned National Counsellor, NCERT, took the session.
The main objective was to educate the students about the right career prospects relevant to their streams and providing them information regarding various colleges & courses.
She emphasized that the students should have a versatile personality along with knowledge of global language and adaptability, which is very much needed to get a good college and to fulfill their future goals after passing their 12th Board Exams.
She guided students to select the best career for themselves by assessing their strength, personality, interest, hobbies and even doing a shadow study of famous professionals of their interest zone.
She even briefed the students about the importance of Mock Board Exams and how to tackle them without fear & anxiety.
The session ended with a question and answer session where all the queries were answered satisfactorily.
