Our Facilitator Ms. Rajbeer Kaur, TGT, Mathematics attended an online workshop on -'Teaching Strategies/Methodologies in Mathematics' on 5th Feb, 2021 conducted by CBSE.
The resource person Dr. Manavi Arora highlighted different strategies to make learning more interactive and joyful. She explained that teachers have to understand what learners are thinking. In order to teach effectively, the learners should be engaged in meaningful and relevant problem solving. They should be asked thought provoking and open ended questions and their initiative should be appreciated and encouraged. Moreover the teacher should make flexible plans and must cater to the diverse learners.
The workshop equipped the participants with multiple methodologies of teaching which will create motivated learning environment for students.
