The hierarchy of Bloom's Taxonomy is the widely accepted framework through which all teachers can guide their students through the cognitive learning process.

 Our facilitator Ms. Smruti Bhuyan, PGT, Political Science, attended an online Capacity Building programme on 'Bloom's Taxonomy and Application'
conducted by CBSE on 7th June 2021.
The objective of the workshop was to inculcate the application of Bloom's Taxonomy among  the educators as
to encourage higher order thinking of the students by building up their behavioural and cognitive learning skills.
The resource person Ms.Lisa Roy Mallick elaborately explained all the objectives and ideas of Bloom's Taxonomy which help in designing, lesson planning and drafting question paper. The tools to make Bloom's Taxonomy successful are : discussions, debates, heritage walks, community activities like shared lunch programs, experiments and blended classroom etc.
Further she explained the important purpose of educators which starts from the most basic level of knowledge & remembering, where by students recall facts and basic concepts and move up towards the pinnacle. Indeed, the workshop proved to be an informative session for all the participants.
