Another opportunity for the kids was brought by Samsara The World Academy on Wednesday 5 October 2016 where in students played final match of Inter-house Football Tournament. Such tournaments inculcate the quality of sportsmanship and team-spirit. The tournament started in the end of September with semi-finals between Aristotle and Shakespeare, later house moved ahead by winning the round before the final. Tagore and Beethoven contended against each other in another set of semi-final, of which Tagore won and reached final.
On 5 October 2016 deciding match of the tournament came about between Shakespeare and Tagore. Players from each team showed great strength and technique but the footballers of Shakespeare house were on the roll!
Joy spread around the teammates of Shakespeare house! All the players hugged each other after their powerful performance. They recorded a score of 6/2 against Tagore. The jig is up for the winning house.
Prashant Singh ,class X was declared the Man of the series. The trophy for the Best Performance was shared by two players, Abhishek Bhati ,class IX and Priyanshu of class VI respectively.
