Saraswati Puja and Blessing Ceremony at Samsara
Samsara The World Academy was honoured to welcome Mrs Anjali Dwivedi, the Director, Horticulture Department, Greater Noida on the occasion of Saraswati Puja on 9th February, 2019 and worshiped Saraswati, the goddess of learning, music, art and culture.

The celebration began with chanting shlokas praising the diety and seeking her blessings to guide everyone on the path of purity, knowledge, truth and creativity. The students sang Saraswati Vandana and offered their respect through devotional dance and music. 

The importance and significance of Vasant  Panchami was nicely explained to the children  by Ms Renu Wadhwa Ma'am,  HOD , History Department. She elaborated that Yellow is the colour of the day. It symbolizes spring, as yellow mustard flowers bloom during this time in Punjab. Everyone wears yellow clothes, including Goddess Saraswati. Yellow rice and yellow sweets like kesar halwa are made. Yellow marigold flowers are offered to the goddess. People put yellow coloured turmeric (haldi) as tilak on their foreheads.

The Chief Guest, showered her blessings on students and advised them to be dutiful,  to give their best in each task they undertake, to   take part in cultural activities and to preserve the rich flora fauna and cultural heritage of our country. 

Students offered flowers to Goddess and  prayed. A special meditation session was conducted for all the students, teachers and admin staff. Meditation and remaining calm is an important aspect in every student's life which helps him/her attain purity and wisdom.

The Principal Captain Praveen Roy, offered her prayers and beseeched blessings for our students appearing for Xth and XII Board exams. She extended her warm wishes for their well being and successful performance in life.
