"We won't have a society if we destroy the environment."
In Green School Programme, the students are introduced about the harmful effects of plastic to our environment. They were asked to bring any form of plastic from their home. Further they were informed that plastic is non-recyclable waste that pollute our environment too much if we throw it randomly . In the activity, the plastics bottles and polythene were brought by the students and were used to make useful products .We made decorative items like chalk holders ,beautiful basket and many other useful items which can be used in our day-to-day work. Various sizes of bottles were used to plant herbs in them. Students were also encouraged not to through plastic waste in the garbage instead try to find or invent your own idea to re-use it to save our environment.Further they were explained about the use of organic fertilizer as well as aware them that how we can make our environment clean and green to have healthy life.
