On 15th August 2015, the 69th Independence Day and the Scholars Day were celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm by the staff and students of Samsara The world Academy.

The program started with a warm and traditional welcome of the Chief Guest- Major General B. D. Wadhwa, AVSM, the co-founder of Samsara-Mrs. Kusum Shastri, our director-Mrs. Ketaki Shastri and our parents.

The flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem. The cultural extravaganza started with a few melodious songs beautifully sung by the students which mesmerized the audience truly.

Then there was the Annual Prize Distribution ceremony in which the school top performers in various fields were awarded for their achievements.

The Yoga presentation by our primary students kept the audience full of awe.

The poised and graceful dances of our school paid homage to all the great patriots of the country who sacrificed their lives for freedom of their fellowmen.

After these performances, the Chief Guest-Major General B. D. Wadhwa, AVSM complemented the students for their jaw dropping performances. In his speech, he explained to the students how important it is to be healthy and stay fit. He also, very firmly laid stress on giving respect to our parents and family. He told the students that if they want to show respect to their country then they need to start with their own family.

After the Chief Guest, the director of Samsara, Mrs. Ketaki Shastri guided the students with her encouraging words.
In the end, the school captain, Umang Dhingra rendered vote of thanks.
