Our facilitators from Samsara- The World Academy Ms.Jyoti Yadav and Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Choudhary got the opportunity to attend CBSE workshop on 'Prospective Resource Person for Math for class X ' conducted at Centre of Excellence, CBSE, Patparganj, Delhi on 14th and 15th May, 2019.
The resource persons were Ms. Ishita Mukherjee, a renowned freelancer associated with CBSE since 2015 and Mr.Trilok Singh Bist, The Principal of DPSG, Vasundhara, who is a resource person for Dehradun and Panchkula.
They basically shared the common errors made by the students and how to rectify that. The objectives of the workshop were:
* To provide an environment conducive to share learning so that the Course Participant ( CP) explores suitable strategies to deal with the students' misconception regarding mathematical concepts.
* To familiarise the CPs with the concept of multiple intelligence.
* To facilitate the CPs in effective planning of their lessons.
* To familiarise CPs with various methods of teaching Maths.
* To develop in the CPs the expertise of drafting test items.
It was an interactive and informative workshop which will definitely benefit our facilitators and enhance their knowledge and competence.
