Samsara-The World Academy celebrated it's Annual Sports Day Synergia 2018-19 with great enthusiasm, pomp and show on 15 December, 2018.

Shri Ranber Singh, Regional Officer, CBSE, Dehradun Region graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Col. R S Bhanwala, Arjuna Awardee was the Guest of Honour.

The Principal Captain Praveen Roy extended warm welcome to the respected dignitaries and our honourable Managing Director Mr Vikram Jeet Singh Shastri and Director Mrs Ketki Shastri.

The audience applauded and enjoyed the magnificent presentation of skill, team - coordination, stamina and vigour of the young and talented Samsarians that engulfed and mesmerized them for hours.

They showcased the best team work agility and sportsman spirit with their variety of activities.

The show began with the grand March Past of all the four Houses . The contingents honouring their House flag gave a pleasant welcome to our Guests and the audience. Tiny tots of Pre-Primary in their glittery and shiny costume looked adorable while dancing on the catchy beat.

The program included Ball Drill, Lemon and Spoon race, Sack race, Dupatta Drill by boys and the Grand Fnale presentation by girls. It was all well appreciated and cheered for.

The Chief Guest, Shri Ranber Singh appreciated the teachers and the students for their efficiency, hardwork and dedication that went into execution of such a splendid performance.

He gave away the awards to CBSE toppers of 2017-18 from class Xth and XIIth. It was indeed a very proud moment for the achievers to receive the award from CBSE Head of Dehradun region. Not only the students but also the teachers were well appreciated for their hard work and dedication and they were also presented with the Best Teacher Award for guiding the students who achieved 100 percent marks in their subjects.

He wished to see many more such recipients in future from Samsara.

Smt. Lalita Dhawan Scholarship Award was also given away to the deserving candidate on this occasion.

The Arjuna Awardee, Col RS Bhanwala shared some valuable tips with students to help develop fitness, stamina and mental strength. He congratulated team Samsara for their outstanding show.

Beethoven House was declared the Best March Past Contingents.

The Managing Director Mr Vikram Jeet Singh Shastri and Director Mrs Ketki Shastri congratulated the Principal Captain Praveen Roy and her wonderful team of teachers for the flawless execution of the Grand event.
