Samsara – The World Academy organized Orientation Day on 24 March, 2018 for the parents of classes Montessori Blue to XII. The parents were extended a warm welcome in the presence of the Principal Captain Praveen Roy. They were introduced to the school curriculum, rules and regulations to be followed during school hours and the various activities being conducted by the school throughout the academic session. The Heads and Coordinators of Pre-Primary, Primary, Middle and Senior Wings were introduced to the parents. The glimpse of Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas being incorporated in school curriculum were discussed in detail. The parents were informed about various Clubs being functional in school like Mathematics club, Science club, Hindi club, Yoga, dance, Art and Craft, karate through well designed and well explained PPT presentation.
They were also made aware about the various workshops being undertaken by school on good touch-bad touch, Self- defense workshops, career counseling etc. The school invites guest lecturers from different walks of life to educate students to keep them updated with the changes occurring in the world today. The Assessment patterns and rules being laid by CBSE for the examination were also explained in detail for better understanding and clarity of the concept. At the end, The Open Session was conducted where the parents were invited with their queries which were answered by the respective Coordinators and the Principal. It was an interactive session that ended on a positive note.
