'Samsarians Celebrated International Yoga Day'

Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices which originated in India. It has been an intrinsic part of the Indian ethos for over 5000 years. Samsara has always believed in instilling the values and practices of our country in the minds of young Samsarians. In our school we practice yoga on weekly bases as yoga is the indispensable part of our curriculum. On 21st June, 2017 our school organised a yoga camp for the students and staff of the school to commemorate the International Yoga Day. All the students and staff enthusiastically performed different asanas (postures) and were also told the benefits of the asanas. There was a discussion on the importance of adopting yoga in our daily lives and students were also told about different yog gurus who popularised yoga at the international platform like Paramahansa Yogananda, Sadhguru, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Baba Ramdev. The students and the staff promised to themselves that they will make yoga an important part of their lives.
