Our Chemistry facilitator Ms. Chhavi Sharma attended an online workshop on 'Enhancing Practical Skills and Projects in Chemistry' organised by CBSE, CoE ,Noida ,on 18th Sept 2020. The resource person was Ms. Poonam Kumar Mendiratta, Principal, Manthan Public School, Gr. Noida. The session covered various topics like objectives of chemistry, evaluation scheme for practicals, root causes for non- achievement of skills, ways to achieve skills, strategies/ methodologies to develop interest in practicals and effective class management.
The session ended with a beautiful quote by Loris Malaguzzi -"Our task regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains , as high as possible.' The workshop was enriching and all the teachers found it helpful and interesting.
