Samsara The World Academy organised Interhouse Basketball Tournament on Friday 30 September 2016. The tournament comprised of three matches viz. two semifinals and a final. All the three matches took place on the same day. Tournament started with the match between Shakespeare and Tagore, of which Shakespeare was the winner. Later spectators watched another match between Aristotle and Beethoven and the former house moved ahead leaving behind its contender.
The winning Houses went head to head in the finals. Initially, Shakespeare's players were agile and their movements were quicker than those of Aristotle's. Blessed with sunshine, the match between Shakespeare and Aristotle was end to end and it took a turn when the Shakespeare players started moving closer to prostration, Aristotle took advantage to take control and won the game .The Final indeed was a nail biting game enjoyed by one and all!
