The facilitators of the Samsara The World Academy attended  a Self-Defense Workshop on 25th May 2017; conducted by Jwala, an organisation that deals with empowerment of young women in the essentials of self defense.
A representative of Jwala along with expert trainers taught many self defense tricks and techniques to develop confidence when moving out alone.
The expert trainers gave a few live demonstrations, exhibiting to safeguard ourselves against any kind of physical abuse on a threat.
It was an engaging and informative session in shaking off our fears and enabling us to be self reliant.
