The facilitator Ms. Neha Sharma of Samsara- The World Academy attended a two days workshop on Capacity Building Programme on Economics for Class XII conducted by CBSE- at JBM GLOBAL SCHOOL, Noida on 23 and 24 August 2018.
The resource person Mr. Saurabh Malhotra and Ms.Sandhya Arora, an eminent educationists carried forward the session.
The motive behind the workshop was to introduce the educators about the changes to be incorporated in the curriculum for class -XI and XII. Their vision is to make Economics -" An Applied Economics".
The resource person also discussed the approach i.e " Bloom Taxanomy" that should be followed while designing question papers.
The teachers were given handouts to solve various worksheets.They stressed on how useful the technology can be to make the subject more interesting- for this they held one quiz on an app "KAHOOT".
Role paly activities were also conducted on some topics of Economics.
It was indeed very informative and educative workshop on Economics. Many teachers from various regions attended this enlightening session and gave their valuable inputs to add on to the enriching experience.
