Our English Facilitator Ms. Reema Sharma got an opportunity to attend a lively webinar on the topic "Evaluation and Assessment when teaching Online" on 27th May 2020 organised by Macmillan Education.
The resource person was Mr. Russell Standard (an international speaker, founder of www.teachertraining.videos.com and an associate trainer). He highlighted a range of ways assessing students online using different tools from basic Formative assessment through quizzes , surveys and tests to the use of E-Portfolios.
He also gave some practical examples to assess students when teaching online and to make use of the different tools like Google Forms,Ped let, Answer Garden etc.
The session was full of ideas with focus at assessment from Formative to Summative as well as reflection and self-esteem evaluation.
