It has been rightly said that the guidance of the parents, as well as the teachers, can perfectly support a child in the most crucial life-changing years of school.
It is then imperative that these two pillars meet and understand what’s best for their wards. In pursuit of the same, a Career Counselling Workshop was organized at Samsara -The World School, on 15 March 2022 for the students of Class X to assist them in the choice of subjects to be taken in Class XI.
The workshop was conducted by our PGTs from different departments.
Our Senior Academic Coordinator, Ms Jyoti Batra( Commerce Department), along with Ms. Pramila Panda ( PGT- Science) and Ms. Shefali Nain (PGT- History) took the session.
They apprised the students about various courses available in streams like Science, Commerce and Humanities.
During the workshop, our PGTs used a PowerPoint presentation to highlight the numerous career options in different streams for their career choices. They also explained the current scenario of student exchange programmes and employment opportunities.
The workshop concluded with the question and answer session.
This was an extremely enriching experience and students wish to be a part of such workshops in the future as well. The students felt that they can ‘stay ahead of the curve’ with many such opportunities.
Our Principal Capt. Praveen Roy applauded the efforts put in by the teachers in giving a clear insight to the students in deciding the right stream without any doubts & dilemmas.
