An In-house Maths workshop was organised for the teachers of Math Department by Ms Jyoti Yadav and Ms. Rajbeer Kaur of Samsara-The World Academy on 29th June, 2019. The topic of workshop was 'Joyful Teaching and Learning '. Mathematics in general is a subject which students want to escape and fear the most. They don't want to study. So, it’s required to build up their interest in the subject and this was the core of the workshop.
The teachers were told how to make Mathematics more joyful and interesting. They included various activities and hand outs for that. They explained how certain topics could be taught with the help of models, real life situations and examples.
The teachers enjoyed the entire session and found these ideas and tips very helpful in dealing with the students and the subject.
