Samsarians celebrated a week of sceince activities through conducting various scientific experiments and research projects.

Intending to cultivate scientific temperament and attitude among the students, Samsara The World Academy organised a ‘Week of Science Activities’ for them.
The objective was to nurture students’ intellectual ability, critical thinking skills, and to boost their confidence.

Classes 3-5
Activity - Diorama of Ecosystem
The little learners made miniature models of Ecosystem and spoke a few lines while presenting it. This activity enriched their knowledge  about the habitat of different animals,  birds and plants. They also recognized that some plants and animals have specific needs and live in specific homes that fulfil their needs.

Classes 6-7
Activity- Fun with Indicators
In an interesting and fun way Students were introduced to the differences between acids and bases. They learned how the presence of acids and bases can be detected with the help of indicators. They prepared the indicators and performed the tests on the acidic and basic substances available at their home in the virtual supervision of their Science teacher and enjoyed the session through  ‘learning by doing’ technique.

Class 8
Activity- Science Quiz
Topic: inventions and inventors. The students enjoyed a lot quizzing through NEARPOD  - a new platform for online quiz .

Class 9- Symposium on Global Environmental Issues.
Each student prepared a PPT and presented her content on 3 R's (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) to solve the problem of waste management. Students came up with innovative ideas on ‘How waste can be reduced or minimised.’

Children learned a lot through various scientific concepts and the experiments which they conducted under the supervision of their teachers.
