To ensure the safety of all the girls, Samsara The World Academy organised a workshop on Self Defense on Friday 12th January 2018 in association with Dr. Divya Gupta, founder of the organisation "JWALA", along with Ms. Renu Ingale and Mr. Rajan Nair who taught the girls of classes 6 to 9 and 11 various self defense techniques. Dr. Gupta made the girls aware about the crime against women, even they learn to know the good touch and bad touch.
They demonstrated few of the techniques emphasizing on using presence of mind in difficult situations.
They motivated the girls to be courageous and defend themselves by learning the skills of martial arts.
The school thanked and appreciated Dr. Gupta and her team for the informative workshop that will prepare and encourage the students to tackle any difficult situation with confidence and the ability to fight back.
Self defense is not just a set of techniques, its a state of mind and it begins with the belief that you are worth defending.
