Workshop on Engaging teens. It's not all about technology!
Our English Facilitators Ms. Reema Sharma and Ms Jyoti Jha attended a webinar on the topic "Engaging Teens. It's not all about Technology" it was organised on 19 May 2020 by Macmillan Education.
The resource person Ms. Anna Hasper, (an educational consultant and teacher development specialist ) briefed the participants that most teens are now more digitally literate than previous generation and hence we should not overload them with more and more apps. Teens today, feel socially isolated and and are loners so to bridge this gap the teachers can engage them in different mind stimulating activities that interest them and challenge them to be more innovative. Teachers need to connect emotionally with them and share their pleasures and challeneges
