Our facilitator from Samsara- The world academy Ms.Rajbeer Kaur got the opportunity to attend CBSE workshop on Prospective Resource person program on JOYFUL TEACHING & LEARNING OF MATHS on  23 & 24 May 2019 at S.D. Public School, Pitampura, New Delhi.

The resource persons were Ms. Ishita Mukherjee, a renowned freelancer associated with CBSE since 2015 , Ms Sangeeta Gulati,  HOD Mathematics from  Sanskriti School Vasant Kunj and Ms Anita Sharma, the Principal of SD Public School Pitampura. 

The objective of the workshop was to
appropriate the beauty of mathematics. They said : 
* Connect mathematics to day to day life. 
* Make use of innovative teaching strategies. 
* Develop assessment for joyful learning. 
* Use technology to enhance learning.

They also shared the common errors made by the students and how to rectify that. Ms Sangeeta Gulati also told about the use of Geogebra. Its an app which helps in representation of Geometry and equations of  Algebra on graph.

It was an interactive and informative workshop which benefitted our facilitator enabling her to be more equipped and apt with mathematical skills and  knowledge.
