Samsara The World Academy celebrated 70th Republic Day on Saturday, 26th January, 2019, with great fervour, enthusiasm and zeal. Patriotism or national pride is the feeling of love, devotion and sense of attachment to a homeland. The charismatic and confident speakers elaborated the essence of being Republic before the audience.
The Council Members and class representatives accompanied Principal Captain Praveen Roy and Group Captain Anil Pandey during the Flag hoisting ceremony followed by National Anthem.
The parents invitees witnessed a beautiful cultural programme. The program began with the speech in English highlighting the significance and importance of the celebration of Republic Day followed by an enriching poem in Hindi.
The cultural team of Samsara gave a colourful performance among the thunderous applause of the audience who cheered loudly on every song and dance performed on the theme of patriotism. They brilliantly showcased their talent and versatility. The choir group presented a beautiful Marathi song "Jai Stute" which means Victory To You composed by freedom fighter Veer Sawarkar.
The students danced on the medley of Patriotic songs and mesmerized every one.
The entire program was conducted by the students of class IV to VI and they rightly claimed all the appreciation and won the heart of all.
