The facilitators, Ms Reema Sharma and Ms. Jyoti Jha of Samsara The world Academy got the opportunity to attend the CBSE -Capacity Building Programme on English Core class XII at DPS Gaziabad on 27 July 2018. Many teachers from Delhi-NCR attended this enlightening session. The Resource person Ms.Kiran, an eminent educationist carried forward the session. The workshop aimed at enhancing the understanding of the curriculum of English Core and giving a fruitful guidance to the teachers to update their pedagogical skills. The inaugural session focused on special objective of reading and the ways of attaining comprehension skills. Full length discussion on the advance writing skills-the format and style of different business letters gave a crystal clear picture while attempting the writing section as well as interaction & enactment on the literature section. The resource person also discussed upon the Bloom Taxonomy. The teachers got a hand on experience of solving various worksheets and very useful handouts related to writing and literature were also distributed which consolidated the experience. The teachers thoroughly enjoyed the lively session & gained valuable inputs making them more confident and aware facilitators of English language & literature.
