Parenting is the easiest thing in the world, to have an opinion about, but the hardest thing in the world to do…… (Matt Walsh) Parenting is a journey filled with happiness and yes, sometimes hard too. That is why it is important for us to learn and better handle everyday challenges. Keeping this thought in mind Samsara The World Academy organised a workshop for parents on 31st Dec 2020. The resource person Ms Ritu Kaushikk explained skills and strategies which are very helpful for parents to grow confidence and resilience in their children. She also emphasised how to get children to co-operate more, to communicate more, to try new things and to persevere. Parents learnt how to support children in academic and sporting endeavour without placing undue pressure on them. The session also equipped the parents with the finer points. Parents also asked questions for better parenting. The workshop was quite interactive and interesting and stated that this initiative would assist the parents in their future endeavours.
