Samsara The World Academy successfully conducted its Capacity Building Programme (CBP) 2026–27 from 19 to 27 May 2026 with the objective of enhancing teachers' pedagogical expertise, technological proficiency, and innovative classroom practices in alignment with evolving educational needs.
The programme featured a series of enriching sessions led by the school's experienced educators. Ms. Shipra Garg, Middle Stage Coordinator, conducted a three-day workshop on Competency-Based Assessment, ERAC (Experience–Reflection–Application–Consolidation) Framework, Thinking-Focused Questions, and Bloom's Taxonomy, equipping teachers with strategies to design analytical and concept-driven assessments.
Ms. Seema Chalotra, PGT Computer Science, led sessions on Google Classroom, Data Handling, Gemini AI, and Khan Academy Integration, focusing on technology-enabled teaching and digital assessment practices. Ms. Vandana Kaushish, Foundational Stage Coordinator, conducted a workshop on the Holistic Progress Card (HPC), emphasising observation-based assessment and constructive feedback for students' overall development.
The programme also included sessions on Computational Thinking in Mathematics by Ms. Ramita Sharma, Kaushal Bodh vocational skills by Ms. Rama Teotia and Ms. Sunena Nagar, and an insightful workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Education by Ms. Sakshi Sharma. The concluding session on Language Skills Development was conducted by Ms. Archana Singh and Ms. Neelima Tyagi, focusing on strengthening listening, speaking, reading, and writing competencies.
Principal Dr. Shalini Prasad and Vice Principal Ms. Jyoti Batra appreciated the dedication, creativity, and enthusiastic participation of all educators. The programme successfully equipped teachers with learner-centric and competency-based teaching strategies, empowering them to create engaging classrooms that foster critical thinking, creativity, and holistic student development.
