Samsara The World Academy recently hosted a successful and thrilling two-day Inter-School Basketball Tournament on April 25th and 26th. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from several renowned schools in Noida and Greater Noida, including Jaypee Public School, G.D Goenka, Pacific School, Holy Public School,  Lotus Valley School & many more  fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and healthy competition.
The tournament was graced by the esteemed presence of Ms. Raspreet Sidhu, former Captain of the Indian Basketball Girls Team, and Mr. Abhudaya Yadav, an international basketball player, alongside our honourable Management, Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri.
Under the able guidance of our Principal, Capt. Praveen Roy, and dedicated coaches, Mr. Saif Khan and Ms. Nikita Yadav, the Samsara boys’; and girls’ teams proudly lifted the 2025 Inter-School Basketball Championship trophies.
The boys’ team defeated Jaypee Public School ,Noida with a score of 28-18, and the girls’ team secured their victory with a score of 22-14 against the same opponent.
The outstanding performances of our students were recognized, with Kishan Singh declared the most ‘Valuable Player of the Tournament ‘in the boys’ category and Minakshi Solanki receiving the same award in the girls' category. Additionally, Shagun Mishra and Shobhit Mishra were recognized as the ‘Best Players of the Match’, showcasing their exceptional skills on the court.
The esteemed Chief Guests and our honourable Managing Director Sir blessed the students in their speech, encouraging them to uphold sportsmanship and discipline, and wished them success in their future endeavours.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for our talented student-athletes, and we look forward to their continued success.
