Our Mathematics facilitators Ms. Jyoti Yadav and Ms. Rajbeer Kaur attended an online session conducted by CBSE, CoE on ‘Innovative Teaching of Maths' on Sunday, 20th September, 2020.
The resource person Ms. Ishita Mukherjee, a freelance trainer, focused on the Innovative methods to teach Maths especially in the primary classes. She emphasized on the following points:
• Create a lively and playful learning environment in the classroom.
• Use different teaching strategies and methods to support students' interest.
• Focus on conceptual understanding.
• Encourage creativity and ownership.
It was quite an interesting and useful session for the teachers.
