Fit India Week (14th - 19th Dec 2020) - Closing Ceremony

The Fit India Movement aims to encourage Indians to include fitness activities and sports in their daily lives to pave way for a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Keeping this thought in mind our school celebrated an online 'Fit India Week' from 14th to 19th December, 2020 with great zeal, excitement and in frolic atmosphere.Various fitness activities were organised during this week and students along with their parents whole heartedly took part in every event. The grand closing ceremony was held on 21st Dec, 2020. The Principal welcomed the esteemed Chief Guest Mr.Yogendra Chauhan, International Chief Karate Instructor; (Federation of India & Canada).The Principal emphasised on the importance of sports in a child's life.

The students participated with high spirit.They presented a soulful song and dance, and displayed their karate skills and mesmerised the audience with their energetic performance.

The Chief Guest guided the students to be punctual, discipline and focused towards their goal, with the message- 'Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live in.”

 
Fit India Week
Our goal is to promote physical fitness and family enjoyment

To keep ourselves active and fit amid the current scenario, our school is celebrating Fit India Week from 14th Dec- 19th, December 2020 for the students and staff. It's rightly said that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body.
keeping the above thought in mind our facilitators Ms. Hemanti Thapa and Ms. Jyoti Kulshreshtha along with the class teachers organised Aerobics and Yoga sessions for Pre Primary and 1st & 2nd grade students whereas the parents too enthusiastically participated on the beat of the music with their little ones .The students were overwhelmed with this positive step for healthy lifestyle and had a great time.
 
Gold medal in Kata & a bronze medal in Kumite event
Pranav Singh of Class VIII A made Samsarians proud by winning Gold  medal in Kata event and a bronze medal in Kumite event in Raha Cup 2020 organised by Noida Martial Arts, held at Noida.
 
1st position in School Badminton Quest
Yashvi Rajput of Class VII- A added another feather to her cap by winning a trophy for 1st position in under-15 doubles, School Badminton Quest (SBQ) held at Indrapuram, Ghaziabad from 17-20 January 2020
 
FIT India Movement
Prime Minister Mr. Modi launched "Fit India Movement" on National Sports Day 2019. On this occasion, Samsara the World Academy made arrangements for the students to listen Prime minister Modi's live message for the Nation. Considering the health of Indians, Mr Modi aimed to launch Fit India Movement. It would inspire and encourage people to give priority to sports and fitness, Mr. Modi foregrounded the place of tradition and most loved games as Stapu, Gulidanda, Kanche, Kabaddi and Yoga. After having listen live message of Mr. Modi, children inspirited with courage and participated in various activities conducted on the occasion of Nation Sports Day with a resolute spirit.
 
Silver medal in Karate Championships
Niyati Chaudhary of class Vth  B from Samsara The World Academy made us all proud by winning  Silver medal in Karate Championships held at JBM Global School, on 2nd  November, 2019.
Principal Captain Praveen Roy congratulated her for her achievement.
